Daring to contradict the FT authority way upthread, I’ll say that I absolutely pick my airlines based on their wine list. If I can afford it, of course. So, Air France over BA in J if I can pull it, even though I like the new BA J suites marginally more than the standard AF B777 reverse herringbone seats out of LAX.

Of course, compared to the swill AA serves in J – and F – on their Atlantic routes, both of the above are superstars.
