Also I am a US citizen, flying with 2 kids under 12. As I understand it, I am not allowed to use the E-gates. As a 1K, are there any faster ways to get through immigration at Heathrow?
Not sure about the outage but I flew EWR-LHR earlier this month (morning flight). I was with someone who wanted a passport stamp, so we ditched the E-gates and went to a manned line. Took less than 5 minutes...but they wouldn't give her the stamp
