The Dallas resort referred to above that was formerly a 4 Seasons is not yet a Ritz. It’s being refurbished.
The JW hard product in Austin is classy, but the soft product is extremely disappointing.
To search for upscale near Austin, you have to look outside the Bonvoy universe. Or wait for the Dallas resort to finally become a RC, a few months from now I think.
