I had my first short-haul C experience on an LX flight operated by BT a few days ago. Based on the comments here, my expectations were low. But I was actually quite positively surprised. Yes, the crew only spoke English, but the service I received was very attentive and polished, I was offered refills of champagne (which I ordered for research purposes only, of course ) and the seat pitch seemed identical to LX CS-300s. n=1 but so far no complaints from me.
