Question. If we book business award tickets from HKT to DOH with AA miles for one day and arrive in the evening around 11pm, then have a separate ticket (not officially a connecting flight, two tickets purchased separately) for business from DOH to JFK, the next morning around 9am, also booked with AA miles, will we be allowed to stay at the airport and access the lounge during this entire.time? Also will we have to exit the secure area to claim our luggage and re-check in? Is there any way to connect these two tickets?
