1. Food: ANA's PE food is the same as the economy per its website menu, while EVA serves differently for PE, is this correct?
2. Seat Configuration: both are 2-4-2, while ANA only has 3 rows and EVA has 8 rows. One post said EVA's PE seat is a little bit obsolete. True?
What do you make of the PE experience for those who took either ANA or EVA?
1. Yes. From what I've heard about EVA PE, the entrees are different and there's a salad plate, but otherwise presentation is mostly an economy meal.
2. The seat products seem fairly similar and both have 38 inches of pitch. ANA's seat seems equally obsolete as EVA's. China Airlines and JAL have much better PE hard products.
I can't tell you about experience though since I haven't flown it in about a decade so I'll leave it to someone else.
