The hotel is a good fit if your plans bring you to the need of visiting the medical institutions in the area.
Or if you visiting to rodeo / livestock and other events at NRG stadium etc.
The staff are all very friendly, hardware shows no wear & tear.
And contrary to many other American Hyatt/Marriott/Hilton hotels, finally a club lounge that is open again
It is the brightest and most modern decorated in the public area and rooms of the other hotels in the vicinity: the Doubletree and Best Western.
The rooms are all properly outfitted and although beige rules, all was clean.
Getting to/from the hotel by car is easy : we went daily out for a mix of Rice University survey / medical appointments and Montrose real estate shopping and we didn't get caught in any gridlock or traffic jams.
Conclusion: can recommend, hotel acknowledges IHG-1rewards elite status & benefits.
