Stayed here earlier this month and would definitely recommend it. Booked using points - 85k for 3 nights, which seemed to be good value considering cash rates for our dates were north of €350/night.
SNA cleared to an Aria Junior Suite 4 days before arrival, though not the corner room pictured above. Really liked the style of the room, and the bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was great with a soaker tub, and separate shower with excellent water pressure.
As a Plat we got breakfast in the restaurant each morning - full buffet, pretty decent spread, though missing an omelet / made to order egg option. The rooftop bar is open but requires reservations. We checked out the space during the day and it looked nice (though small), but cocktails were €30 so it didn't seem worth it.
As mentioned in another post above hotel guests still get an hour free bike rental from a nearby shop, which is plenty of time to do a full lap of the city wall with some stops along the way.
We really enjoyed Lucca and would highly recommend both the city, and this hotel, if you're looking for an alternative to the crowds of Florence. A few pics:
Floor plan - we were in 308, which as you can see is a good deal larger than standard rooms.
