My H1B visa and my wife's H4 visa that is in the GE system currently is expiring soon. We both have our extensions approved and will be traveling to India later this year and get new visa stamps. We also have EAD/AP approved but plan to enter on the new H1B. Can we still use the GE line when we renter with the new H1/H4 stamps? Will they be able to update our documents as we enter? Any point in going to the enrollment center to update our records with our extension petitions? Really don't want to stand in the long regular line at SFO.
You can't use GE after new stamp.
When I had to do it at EWR, there was a separate line for people who had X on GE receipt(it was the old machines back then).
I didn't use the machine but asked an officer who sent me to that line.
New stamp/797 details were updated in GE at the counter.
AP is almost always sent for secondary screening - so if you ever want to use it, GE will not be an option.
