Well, I'm glad they brought back menus. A year ago on MUC-ORD I asked about wines and they said, "We have a white and a domestic red". :-(
There didn't seem to be a thread for this specific category, but I flew Business (not Polaris) from Quito to IAH yesterday. It was a red-eye; scheduled 12:40 AM to 5:55 AM although it ran over an hour late. "Breakfast" in Business Class was one of those nasty little plastic-wrapped, over-sweetened muffins and water or orange juice. NO coffee. Maybe they would have supplied it if asked, but I was recovering from a nasty gastrointestinal bug and was living on water and yogurt for 2 days. No idea how dinner was after takeoff; I slept through it.
When selecting Business long-hauls I go by price and itinerary, figuring you get perks (lounge access, priority boarding, etc.) regardless of status. In theory, it would still make sense to choose UA if it's, say, $300 cheaper and bring my own food - which is probably what management has figured out. :-(
