If AC’s IT treats us similarly, your SQx should post about 2.5 days local time after you landed in Europe with instantaneous Core Benefits and Select Benefit choices including eUps.

I have changed my odds and now think there is a 90+% chance that you will be able to request an upgrade using eUps before you leave Europe.
