43 minutes should be no problem at all, assuming of course that operations are on schedule. I often had a 35 min connection between mainline and eagle (that's about as far as it can get in Chicago, and I never even had to hurry.) I often made much shorter (stand-by) connections at ORD, though my record is making a -2 minute connection at DFW two weeks ago (that one required some running, though)
