You are entitled to XP and Miles as per your PAID ticket MAIN cabin/booking class" (V fare for all legs).

Is there room for debate here? Any documentation/precedents I can leverage to persuade FB to credit me for W instead of V? Goldorak sounded pretty confident about the eligibility for extra XPs.
the problem is that there is nothing written here and FB is replying as per their own rules. The basis of my previous answer to your question was based on the fact that, when purchasing a paid upgrade in advance on DL flights, the ticket is reissued with the new booking class/fare, hence the FFP credit as per the upgraded class rule. While when you do a paid upgrade at OLCI with AFKL, you only earn the XP of the original class purchased. I see 2 possible scenario here :
- as your credit had to be done manually, FB is applying their usual rule and I don't see any ground on which you can rely to ask for the upper class XPs
- FB is now able to detect automatically that it is a paid upgrade and apply their regular rule. To confirm this, we would need more data point from other posters who have recently purchased a paid upgrade on DL.
