I agree that Seatguru has fallen off, and is no longer a reliable source of cabin layout info. Case in point, it shows that the JFK-FRA segment is serviced by a 3-cabin layout, while the FRA-SIN segment is served by the 4-class version of the 777:

I've looked at other sites, including the one you linked, and they mostly show the 4-class version of the 777-300ER for JFK-FRA. YouTube videos show the same thing. It appears that SQ's entire fleet of triple-sevens, that feature an F cabin, have now been refitted with this config (but Seatguru hasn't updated its maps to reflect that). So, it's probably safe to pick 12A.
