Some CX plane types that do not require armrests being lowered?
I was on CX 252 today and noticed that armrests in Business Class were not lowered for take off or for landing. Thought it rather strange. When leaving the plane, a passenger actually asked the crew whether this practice of not requiring armrests be lowered is newly introduced. The crew looked surprised at the question , like they had never heard of armrests being kept lowered when taking off / landing. Then one of them said that it depends on plane types. Said only required for A350. Is that correct? Thank you.
Actually, these days, CX pre-flight and pre-landing checks are very lax compared to before. They used to make sure that seats are upright by pressing the upright button even after one is already upright, and checking a number of things strictly. Now, not so.
