Pretty some smaller airlines in Europe (eg Condor, SAS) only allow a personal item (no carry on) on their Eco light fares. It is only a matter of time till the EU3 will discover this fun source of ancilliary revenue.
One of the recent issues discussed on the CoCreation Hub dealt with carryon luggage and what one could/ should bring on - seemed to be leaning into the direction of either paying for or purchasing passes for and/or how did one feel about free checked luggage to expedite boarding...
