Hi:

My fiance and I stayed there during the T-giving holiday as well, 2 days during 11/27-28. I had one award night and one paid night. I know this property is 40K per night on an award. You had 2 rooms and six nights on an award, or 12 nights @ 40K points. Did you actually blow 480,000 points? Also, I'm a little suprised they didn't upgrade you to a suite due to your Diamond status, even though you were on an award. In my case, I paid for a night @ 350 Euros, which was the next closest thing to a suite, with the sole purpose of being upgraded to a suite. Even being just a Gold HHonors member, I was given a two-room suite on the sixth floor. I recommend doing that for anyone considering staying there. Yes, 350 is a lot, but it was well worth it being this was our last trip before the baby comes and I wanted to treat her to a nice suite in Paris close to all the great shops. I was able to relax, smoke and watch TV in the other room without disturbing her while she slept. She hates smoke, but the large pocket door seperating the two rooms kept the smell out.

BTW, this property was really, really good. A little pricey, but the staff was excellent and very attentive. They drove to the airport for me and picked up a package held in customs. ^
