I have finally found the time to crank out the Windows version of CoMETS Beta 1. CoMETS is now available for Windows (2000 and XP) and for Mac OS X.

If you track your miles, EQMs, and BIS miles, or if you plan your itineraries to maximize your miles, I think you will find CoMETS to be very useful.

Overview:
CoMETS combines a powerful mileage and cost calculator with an easy-to-use flight database. CoMETS' calculator lets you quickly determine how many miles, EQMs, and BIS miles you will earn on any itinerary; CoMETS will help you factor in status bonuses, class of service bonuses, and other promotional bonuses. CoMETS will let you keep track of all the trips you take and will automatically calculate your total miles, EQMs, BIS miles, and EQS, for any year, quarter, month, or lifetime. CoMETS will also calculate how much each mile, EQM, BIS mile, and EQS cost you.

CoMETS makes it easy to track flight minutiae: Seat numbers, Booking Codes, Upgrade, Equipment, etc. There is even a field where you can enter your own narrative of any length for each flight.

Notes:
- The Mac version requires a password to install: ftcomets
- I have not yet created slick installers--if you are a Windows user and are not comfortable with unzipping files into a new directory, please wait until the installer is ready (DIAFlyer had graciously offered to create one). Mac users will just need to drag the CoMETS folder into their Applications folder.
