Singapore Airlines Seat Selection Stumper

I just booked a J award on SQ, JFK-FRA, for early next year. The 777-300ER services this route.

With the exception of the 11th row (first Business Class bulkhead), which is reserved for elite passengers, all seats are available for selection. I'd like to select seat 12A*, however I'm a bit hesitant, because Seatguru shows that there are two versions of the 777-300ER.

On the first version (four class), seat 12A appears to be a standard business class seat with no issues. But on the second version (three class), the seat is coded yellow, and is accompanied with a warning that there is a misaligned window.

Now, I'm pretty sure that the JFK-FRA route is served by the four-class triple-seven version, which means that it's safe to select seat 12A. But is it likely that there could be an equipment swap to version 2 of the 777, turning my selected seat into an undesirable one?

*My preferred seat is actually 11A, but that row opens up 96 hours prior to check in, if available
