Has anyone had issues if you booked an EV (prepaid) then decided to take a gas car from PC or 5*? I know the posted FAQ posted in another thread says you can, but looking for experiences of others. The chat on hertz website tells you you can only change within the vehicle class booked based on availability.

I am PC and have a Tesla 3 LR booked for Nashville, but as I research things I want to do outside of the city, I could be 200+ miles round trip from a charger and as we plan the trip an EV may not have been the best choice.
