If you chose cash they make the payment by cheque in the US or bank transfer in the rest of world (takes up to 45 days).
Do you know if they will issue the check in Euros? I'm on a similar situation and they shared the following two options:
____ Please provide me a check in the amount of 600EUR in accordance with European Union Regulation (EC) 261.
____ In place of the check option, I accept a Trip Credit in the amount of 800USD.
I have never deposited a check in another currency but I'm guessing that's not an issue. I'm also submitting a claim for a minor so I'm also wondering under which name they will issue the check (still waiting for AA response)
