My Costco Citi Visa Business card includes primary coverage (even on personal rentals) of up to $50,000 (not of vehicles valued at $50,000 MSRP, but an actual coverage limit of $50,000 without limit to the make or type of vehicle--I even had them pay out on damage I incurred on an RV rental--which would cover even a slightly used Tesla in full). No annual fee (except for the Costco membership, of course). I figure at the point I'm exceeding $50,000 in damage, I'm likely in the hospital and needing medical benefits, too, and so at that point, filing a claim for the overage with my personal auto insurance carrier is already going to be happening, so I'm OK with that coverage limit.
