Aluminum Luggage
I’ve had no issues attaching an air tag to my zero Halliburton luggage. Pelican makes an air tag assembly that has an adhesive.

On my luggage, you can access the frame by unzipping the lining — affixed the holder to that. No issues with “seeing” it either.
