Already back to the Hotel du Louvre and this time I was upgraded 2 days before check in to an Executive Suite View. I was a bit concerned it will feel a bit cramped as it is 10sqm less then the Palais Royal Suite (and only 5sqm more than a Junior Suite) but has a separate living room. But it was not the case and both the living and bedroom have a very comfortable size (at least for a solo guest on business but I’m sure it’s perfect for a couple and can fit a crib in the living room).
Entrance was directly in the living room with a small balcony (3 floor above the hotel entrance) with amazing view on avenue de l’Opera and Opera at the back (too bad it’s under renovation for more than a year). Only minor complaint would be that the (huge) desk only has a stool no chair.
Bedroom had a similar view plus facing the Comédie Française on the other side amazing!
Usual Junior Suite bathroom (ie not the huge one of the Palais Royal Suite) but like all the hotel very modern, classy and clean.
I won’t be back in June unfortunately as prices are crazy during Roland Garros but looking forward to my next stay in July (already asked if possible for an upgrade in a non junior suite with great view on the Comédie Française…
