Qatar flight number on an Indigo operated service

Carelessness sees me on a QR flight to Mumbai operated by Indigo. Not connecting, joining the flight in Doha.

I'm not overly fussed about the flight itself, but seat-selection is dead and my understanding is that i won't be able to check-in online: which likely means although I'll be baggage-free, I'll be joining a long line of passengers checking in at an Indigo-designated desk.

I'm resigned to buying my own breakfast rather than going to the platinum lounge, an indignity I can deal with .... but what about the avios ?

ditto the return from Chennai.

The QR(Indigo) flights operate to a much more convenient schedule than the QR-QR service and it's 2am arrival in BOM, 4 am departure from MAA, so I'm sure I'm not the only one to to opt for the code-shares. Any insight into how it all works out?
