That would (apparently) be their right to not participate with Leverage at all or to not negotiate individual corporate rates in general, just like they have opted out of TSU participation. But if PH Sydney is allowing bookings of Leverage rates on the Hyatt web site (which they are) then they are participating and should be following the program rules, not trying to make their own! I suspect part of the problem is Leverage is relatively unknown and in their case they are lumping it in with traditional corporate rates, which are usually not allowed for leisure stays. The other half -- not upgrading a Leverage booking is just complete nonsense. Leverage rates are qualifying stays so they can't opt out of standard WOH program benefits because they feel like it. What's next -- no free breakfast for Globalists on Leverage bookings?
