super frustrating trying to book a JL/KE fare:

Found JL SEA-NRT for 2 at the end of schedule and booked for two. Waited a few days and found KE TPE-ICN-LAX-PDX. Couldn't "change flight" online since there was only one segment, so I tried to call in. Apparently the "system" didn't let me book the DOJ and the agent said it would only work for a final destination of SEA. Fine, found TPE-ICN-LAX-SEA for two. The system errored out again as apparently even though the AS website shows two open seats, the AS internal system only shows one. Cross-referenced with DL (shows two) but nothing worked.

HUCA and found another agent who escalated to a partner agent, and tried looking for 2J on all the KE routes (YVR,SEA,ORD,LAX) that were interesting - even though AS showed 2J, the agent said there was only one available seat. So there is definitely some phantom space going on.

Ended up booking CI TPE-SFO with AF, but super frustrating.
