Missed my GE renewal - should I apply for PreCheck too?
When I checked in for a flight I got a message I didn't get pre-check and realized my GE expired a few days ago. My trusted traveler account was tied to a previous job email and I missed reminder to renew . The CBP site says it's an average 4 - 6 month wait.

Should I apply for PreCheck separately? I don't know if my GE application will move quicker since I'm renewing or if I'm stuck at the end of the queue. I really don't want to not have pre-check for 6 months.
