Hey UA & LHR experts -- there was an 11 hour delay with today's day flight IAD-LHR (UA122), which I was going to use to fly to LHR, stay the night nearby and then fly to CPH for meetings tomorrow morning. Since the 11 hr delay would cause me to land after my connection, UA got me a seat on flight 918 landing 5:55am at LHR. My separate ticket on SAS is for a LHR-CPH flight that departs at 6:45am. I am Premier Gold and will not be checking bags. It seems from this thread that I'll have to walk/sprint the long tunnel from 2B to 2A and then clear a transit security checkpoint and then sprint to whatever gate SAS is using for my CPH flight.

This wasn't my ideal backup plan, but it seems like it's all I have short of trying to pay $2500 for a walkup ticket on SAS direct from IAD-CPH.

Anyone have recent experience with a ~1 hr connection like this one at LHR and is there a chance of making it? Obviously I will be very vulnerable if we don't make it in right on time, but I see over the last seven days UA 918 has arrived early a few times.

Thanks in advance!
