Hmm, no. Havent been in one. Sounds like a typically interesting mix of products you see in Japanese stores. I have American friends who cant get over being able to buy cigarettes and booze in drug stores. With a Rolex, cigarettes, booze and sex toys you are about set for a night in Vegas to paraphrase Slim Pickens.

Mitsukoshi in Nihanbashi had THE most amazing collection of high-end watch brands I have ever seen in one place. I have been shopping for a high end watch in London and NY and no one in those cities comes close. They had the following brands under one roof: Patek Philipe, Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piquet, A. Lange & Sohne, Jaeger LeCoultre, Breguet, Blancpain, Glashutte Original, Parmagiani Fluerier, Chopard, Harry Winston and others. I was completely stunned. They had a Parmagiani Fluerier tourbillon in a display case on the counter that was way over 10,000,000 yen. On the other hand, the prices were really ugly compared to even list prices in the US.

I wouldnt argue about the Taillevant Robuchon place. It was good but Im guessing it was terribly overpriced. Not sure because a friend took my wife and I for lunch so I didnt see the bill. That might have changed my view. Taillevant in Paris is my favorite restaurant in world. Been there a half dozen or so times and have never been disappointed. The one in Tokyo is not the same.
