Hyatt Leverage
I just checked out and will post a review shortly, however those on Leverage should be concerned. I checked the app for 24 hours prior to check in and it still read Park King.
Short version is front desk said "We don't upgrade corporate rates." I countered that none of the T/Cs of Leverage nor WOH state this and they asked for proof of business travel. I said it's my company and offered my company registration. They also asked for an "official company email." Seems like a ludicrous rule to not upgrade on corporate rates.
Considering your long term relationship with the hotel, this is verging on insulting and offensive behaviour. As I mentioned above, I was so unimpressed by the way they handled my corporate booking that I don't see myself staying here any time soon.
Perhaps this is something that needs to be flagged to Hyatt corporate.
