Need some guidance with this. How much time would it take me to get there? Best path? Best place for them to wait?
Three hours is a long time to wait land-side in any airport, but if that is the plan, I would suggest to pick one of the restaurants on the floor between arrivals and departures. There are quite a few choices there, but I am afraid that I do not have enough experience with them to make specific recommendations.

From domestic arrivals, just get on the nearest escalator one floor up - it will be quick.
