Yeah, I guess I’m having trouble understanding why you’d need this benefit except in cases when the hotel was sold out! I know it can have blackout dates, but IHG told me that these dates were not blacked out.
add in the fact I had a reservation that was cancelled (without any notice) and it’s a whole insult to injury thing.

im guessing there will be some sort of comeuppance as I was told they cancelled every existing reservation from April 5-11. If they didn’t email everyone; they are likely to have many upset people just showing up with confirmation emails.
