Interesting. Award tickets come with luggage, lounge etc. And if this was a last-minute change made by BA, then you might very well have a revenue booking class on AY (and will get points). In any case, it should not be a Light ticket. But the boarding group sounds very sketchy.
Does the BP show a lounge invitation? It should.
