I have just visited for the second time and stayed 9 days. The hotel is, as described above, magnificent in all respects but my strong preference is for the newer wing from which there are fantastic Nile views from all rooms/suites. I booked a luxury room and, as a Gold ALL/Accor member, got upgraded to a Prestige Nile View Suite for the entire stay. The suite had an attached office so I could work perfectly well during the stay. For sure, I will stay every year from now on and have already booked for next year. Excellent complimentary chocolates are delivered each night together with regular fruit plates and a good selection of confiserie on arrival. The property cannot be faulted and the price is especially reasonable in May when temperatures pick up.
