I'm staying here right now for the weekend (photos attached).

Here's my observations so far in no particular order:

*I'm currently an Explorist working towards Globalist status again (through the Bilt Promotion). I booked a basic King room. I was upgraded to a King City View (Corner Room) on a high floor. It's VERY bright and eliminates the feel of the room being on the smallish side. I would highly recommend it. In doing so even the bathroom comes with a full ceiling to floor plate glass window.

*I booked the "members save promotion" where they take a one night deposit whenever they decide 😀. So, a week later I see a charge from a "new merchant" that was close to the amount for one night I booked here. It did indicate Hyatt but no address or anything, just the title new merchant. So, as of right now that's what your transaction will say.

*Entrance to the building is weird on "Insurgentes". I plan to go back outside later and see how the real entrance looks like. I entered near the parking garage

*It feels deserted here for some reason. Only saw one other guest so far.

*The staff is "over friendly"😀

*Mini bar comes empty, but a mini bar attendant will come to your room shortly after you gain entry to your room with a large cart to stock your fridge with what you want. I requested it be left empty. I brought along my own drinks. A mini bar price list is pictured below. The fridge is hovering about 45 degrees Fahrenheit with my infrared thermometer. Closer to 40 degrees is better for food, but the fridge is designed for mainly beverages. Just a heads up.

*WiFi access is via password, so it will work with many other devices that don't automatically connect to "hotel automated wifi networks" like Amazon Echos should work etc

*I always bring along my aranet4 to measure the basic air quality in hotel rooms and other locations. The air quality is very good 👍

*Water pressure is excellent.

*I plan to ask if some could show me the club lounge when it's open for evening offerings and will comeback and post photos as I have no official access to the Club Lounge as an Explorist.

As of right now being my first night, I actually like the Hyatt Mexico City in Polanco better for the variety of restaurants and shops inside, the neighborhood and overall feeling, but you pay more. This location is good for shopping and attending the World's Trade Center, Pepsi Collisiem and the revolving restaurant for instance. It's not bad, it's just not like the one in Polanco.

I'll report back with any additional information.
