Delay Receiving Cash Back

How cash back works

  • When you redeem for cash back, you can direct deposit it into most U.S. checking and savings accounts or you can choose to redeem for a statement credit
  • Statement credits will reduce your balance but you are still required to make at least your minimum payment
  • The amount available to redeem is based on your rewards points balance starting at 1 penny
  • Cash back redemptions may take up to 3 business days to post to your account
On Thursday, May 11, P2 redeemed 90,000+ points from a business card in the form of cash back to be deposited in our primary checking account. It's not a Chase account but it is one that we have received cashback into numerous times for over a decade. That process usually takes 2 business days. (Chase says it may "take up to 3 business days"). Very well, but today is Friday, May 19, and the deposit has not shown up.

I want to avoid eyes-on-account, so before contacting Chase, I thought I'd ask if anyone else is seeing cash back delays?
