Currently at the property and to be honest - it is a mixed bag.

I have two back to back reservation. Somehow they managed to cancel and rebook my second reservation (of course at the higher current point price). It took 4 hours phone call to Marriott to fix it (eating my vacation time in Europe). At the hotel there was zero acknowledgment that there was even an issue.

For my first night the SNA cleared to the Brilliant Diamond Suite. The room layout is nice - although like most new renovations there is too much form over function (for example the toilet while is it’s own room is furthest away possible from the bed room. Now I’m in a regular room at it is the same. No wardrobe, just open rack set etc). The biggest gripe about the suite is noise control, or lack of it. You are facing the street and can hear everything. Worse the bed room have (locked) doors facing to the stairway from the ground floor. You can hear every drunken guest coming back to their room at 4am in the morning. Really not conducive for sleeping.

The breakfast spread is the poorest I’ve seen in full service hotel. The fact that everything is vegan really works against the establishment (though you can order eggs).

On expiring certificates it is a good deal - but paying for the room I’m not sure.

EDIT: apparently they have 4 suites. I was referring to 105. Avoid at all costs.
