Out of interest does GCH theoretical seating block apply for Row 1 on SH? Last two trips in CE I have had either 1C or 1D free next to me in my 1A/F seat (both back to LHR from outstations) despite a pretty full multi-row CE cabin behind me. Perhaps people just didn't want Row 1, but it seemed strange to me!
