Interesting. Finnair were hit last year by the war, in that their business model of using HEL as a hub between many European cities and Japan and China stopped working because there were no more overflights of Russia. They wetleased several A359 to Eurowings discover. (I had a pretty bad experience because the regular LH MUC - YUL got replaced by Finnair on behalf of Eurowings Discover on behalf of Lufthansa - at LH prices and with no real economy plus to speak of (seat pitch extended by 4 inches but same number of seats per row). Catering was Eurowings, Entertainment was Finnair. Cabin crew were more than indifferent (one food run, one drinks run, didn't bother to enforce mask mandate which was still very much in place then). This wetlease ended in March 23 because, according to the press release, Finnair needed their planes.
The QF wetlease sounds like it would put much more stress on the crew than flights originating from Munich.
