Overall, very satisfied with the loyalty event. My only concern is that with the new spouse status match program, that it will add to the upgrade "competition." I would hope that AS could designate the difference between the FF and the spouse of an FF, meaning that all things being equal, the FF would have priority over spouses (or other family members granted equal status). For example, if I book a flight five minutes later than a spouse of an AS FF, I believe my upgrade position should ALWAYS be higher than the spouse of the AS FF who booked the same flight five minutes before me (when flying solo). I love that my hubby will have status when he flies without me, but he shouldn't "bump" an actual million miler or 100k flyer from receiving the FC upgrade. The AS loyal flyers should ALWAYS receive upgrade priority ahead of spouses of AS loyal flyers regardless of when they booked the flight. We've earned this position.

Thank you, AS, for the 20k EQM -- that put me over 112K for the 2023. Looking forward to the 40k EQM bonus at 2MM. Can't believe there are people close to 3MM, who will receive 100k for life.
