LHR really has the best GS ground experience in the system now - the dedicated check-in, the agent support, the lounge, boarding experience - and people that always go the extra mile.

I agree with this, and did bring it up to the station manager this time as there was a family with three small children that camped out and took over the dining table area by the buffet, and were running all around. This is more to do with the parents taking care of their kids, but the member was a 1K and this setup is better on the main UC side.
I flew out of LHR this week and was underwhelmed, based on all the hype I've heard, Check in was fine with pleasant agent printing my BP. As I've mentioned up-thread, the "GS" lounge was fine but nothing special;. At the gate, a non-United employee was asking those standing around for BPs and then placing people in the chutes to pre-board. At boarding, they called GS, I self-scanned my BP along with three more ahead of me after which they quickly called 1K as I was going through the gate.and we all sort of went down together. Maybe an off day for the LHR GS crew?
