For my last two LHR flights, the GS agent at the gate has gone through the boarding line and "boarded" all GS members in on their phone device - meaning both times when boarding began, we walked straight through without scanning boarding passes and straight on. Really like this, and hope it continues.
LHR really has the best GS ground experience in the system now - the dedicated check-in, the agent support, the lounge, boarding experience - and people that always go the extra mile.

I agree with this, and did bring it up to the station manager this time as there was a family with three small children that camped out and took over the dining table area by the buffet, and were running all around. This is more to do with the parents taking care of their kids, but the member was a 1K and this setup is better on the main UC side.
