anyhow:
canapes- good
starter beed carpaccio- good but heavy with the truffles
salad- it is literally just lettuce, 1/3 of which was frozen/slimy
lamb main- how sad is this? it was supposed to be with feta and pomegranate jus. it tasted fine despite how sad it looks
dessert- crepes suzette- very good
mid-flight cheese- always good
pre landing starter of tomato with mozzarella- very nice
spinach pasta (instead of the poor burger)- was very lovely and happy they actually catered it this time instead of my prior experience when they cater the CE mushroom pasta
dessert- the usual choc mousse but with heaps of strawberries, just fantastic
so, a mixed bag and solidly in the lower-middle of experiences overall.
Crikey, yes. That lamb does look a bit grim - lots of brown, and not much sauce.
And, great if it was tasty, but the chocolate mousse looks a bit like the Angel Delight I used to make for myself when I was about 8. Not really special for First, is it ?
