As long as I can remember United had service to White Plains. Goes back to when the old terminal shack was a unique experience in the 1980s. We invented gate lice or you had to wait outside the terminal! United used to fly 737's into HPN, and then continued the flight to New Haven as one of the shortest flights in the system. Also had nice RJ service to Dulles for international connections.

It is actually stunning that United has essentially ceded the entire southern Westchester Florida leisure market to Jet Blue and was in the process of losing the higher end market to JSX and semi private flights. So much wealth within 10 miles of HPN (including Greenwich/Stamford) that it is sad UA couldn't make a real effort to succeed. I know too many people who just won't go to Newark. .
