If at all possible go for the bulkhead seats.

I flew cph-sin-bkk, at the end of april, and return last week.

I have no status, so booked 12K on cph-sin and sin-cph legs (ticket bought 7 months before departure), with the hope of "upgrading" to the buklhead once checkin opened 48 hours before departure, but neither the website, nor the app worked for the 45 hours or so before i checked in at the airport.

At the checkin desk, I loaded up expertflyer and saw that 19K was X'ed, as in not avaliable, but I asked anyway, only to be told, sorry no, they are reserved, then the checkin staff (at both cph and bkk) got this beviledered look in their eyes, and asked a colleague, and voila, I was moved to 19K, on both flight. Made the flights so much more enjoyable.

I'm 173cm, so by no means a tall person, but the ability to sit/lunge/sleep with your body/legs straight are So much better that the angled mess that is the curent non-bulkhead A350 SQ's business class.
