In the unlikely event that I would be travelling in "The Back" (clutches pearls), I think that it is a bit naughty to book seats that are not together. I think too that the use of "my" could only be used if the seat was paid for but we may be concentrating on that too strongly. It is my belief that when one flies to or from Amsterdam, one spends more time taxying than actually flying. I always like to be by the aisle, and Him Indoors likes a window seat. If we were the poor side of the curtain (

) I would let him have his window seat as I have a bladder like a camel and really get up during flights. This is aleviated if one flies CE now that we are both retired, we can travel when we like and try not to fly weekends or God Help Us School Holidays of any description.
