So it would be points back and 90 in travel bank when cancel?

The same person who book it with credit card for 330 total via credit card and cancel... get 330 in travel bank? So that means person who has points are less on the hook so to speak if they don't fly much with jetblue? Since it expires in a year?
Yes. Travel Bank expires after a year.
  • If you book a $240 ticket with $60 in taxes and $30 in luggage, you will get a $330 Travel Bank that expires in a year.
  • If you book a 30k award ticket with $60 in taxes and $30 in luggage, you will get 30k points redeposited and a $90 Travel Bank that expires in a year.

I hope this makes it clear. You might be better off copying and pasting this (and, as a protip, making it a lot more concise) in an email to JetBlue to get a positive response in writing.
