The standard suite I have had at Hyatt Centric has a separate bedroom from a tiny living room area. It's not a large suite, but it's a 'real suite' (so to speak).

I used to like the HC waikiki just fine -- the location is good for shopping and eating (though, the beach is a little bit of a walk), their breakfast was quite good, and the standard suites were often available (unlike the Regency, where I've yet to score TSU availability or gotten comp suite upgrades, on account of their very limited number of standard suites). Now, I won't consider it over the regency on account of the lack of breakfast.
