I stayed at the new Montero on points for two nights last week. The decor is stunning and the staff is very helpful and kind. We were given an upgraded room that was spacious and the bed was divine. The breakfast is very good consisting of a menu and a small cold buffet. The coffee could improve. The rooftop bar was still not ready but the side with the small pool was accessible. The gym is not ready. We were given free drink tickets. The smoking issue is one they are working on. Considering the hotel facilities aren’t totally finished, I think the point redemption is a bit high.

arrival is a little confusing as you cannot pull up in front of the hotel. Your taxi can stop on Grand Via by the MDonalds and the hotel is two doors down on a pedestrianized street. If you have a lot of luggage you might want to all ahead and someone could meet you with a cart. The area the hotel is in is very busy with lots of restaurants and also many souvenir shops. We really enjoyed our stay here.
